Our Story

BeyondWork was launched in 2025 by the Local Outreach Team at Ruggles Baptist Church with a simple yet powerful vision:

"to create a space where work and community thrive together."

During one of our monthly meetings, we felt a strong calling to serve remote workers, students, and professionals—many of whom arrive in Boston full of ambition, only to find themselves overwhelmed by work and isolated in a new city. Research and lived experience confirmed this growing need: people are often missing out on genuine, supportive community during some of life’s most transitional seasons.

What began as a spark of an idea—a coworking space—quickly grew into a meaningful initiative. Today, BeyondWork welcomes anyone seeking a productive environment infused with connection and purpose. Our goal is to help individuals move forward in their work while also building lasting relationships through fellowship.

We believe productivity doesn't have to come at the cost of community. At BeyondWork, you’ll find both.
